One of the worst things in life is to get up in the morning and say “oh shit, I have to go to work”. For those who don’t know much about me, I work for a reputable (well maybe not so reputable!) company in their business development department. Now the nice thing about business development is that you don’t go through a day to day routine, it’s a very challenging career where you run around like a headless chicken making sure you create new business opportunities, develop and implement corporate strategies and make sure your company maintains a competitive edge amidst vicious competition. Now all this sounds pretty exciting, even for me! But when you work in a company that is not employee oriented, then no matter how much you love your job you still feel like shit! (Oops, I didn’t say that did I?).
As you probably noticed, I am still at work now, frustrated and tired.. I couldn’t find a better way to vent other than throw the burden at you guys… hehe yes I love you.
Maybe it’s time for me to move on.
I’ll tell you what’s worse: going in the morning to the job you actually like, BUT, someday & somehow you discovered that the new “experienced” guy is actually a prick to work with! Now things start to take a free-fall pattern for ya and now you hate waking up in the morning….
Give it a lil’ twist and imagine what it’s like to share a house with the prick!!
